Contract Manager
Location: [London, Hybrid]
Position Type: Contract initial 9-12 months, opportunity to become permanent staff
Job Summary: We seek a skilled Contract Manager with a legal background to manage, negotiate, and oversee contracts for our floating and offshore wind projects. This role requires strong legal knowledge, contract management skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Development and Negotiation:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
- Advise project teams on legal and contractual risks.
Compliance and Regulatory:
- Ensure contracts comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry laws and regulations.
Project Support:
- Provide legal support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in resolving disputes and legal matters.
Contract Administration:
- Maintain a contract database.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Act as the primary contact for contractual matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field; JD preferred.
- 5+ years of contract management experience, preferably in offshore wind.
- Strong understanding of contract law and risk management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office.
