Our well established and reputable client is seeking a Contract Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Contract Manager will oversee the creation, implementation, and management of contracts and procurement processes. Ensure all contracts are compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. The Contract Manager will also assist in term negotiations and management of supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.


• Lead the procurement lifecycle, including supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring.


• Serve as the primary contact for contract and procurement requests, aligning strategies with business goals.


• Maintain a comprehensive contract database and liaise with outsourced legal support for complex issues.


• Analyse and report on supplier spend and financial performance, collaborating with finance for accurate budgeting.


• Implement continuous improvements by staying updated on industry trends, conducting audits, and enhancing processes.

Skills and Requirements:

• Experienced in contract management, procurement, and supplier management.


• Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and concepts.


• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with leadership and decision-making abilities.


• Adaptable with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.


• Professional certification in contract management or procurement e.g. Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), legal qualification (Desirable)
