LINKS Recruitment Group are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our established client in Cardiff.



Location: South Wales (80%) / Southwest (20%) with occasional UK travel

Job Type: Permanent (ASAP Start)

Salary: £40,000 + Profit-Related Bonus Scheme

Package: Company Hybrid Van (including fuel card, for personal use)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30



Job Purpose:



As a Contracts Manager, you will oversee multiple commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You’ll manage subcontractors, liaise with clients, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. The role involves managing projects across South Wales and the Southwest, with occasional travel across the UK depending on contract wins. You will play a key role in the successful handover of contracts and maintaining strong client relationships.



This role requires a full UK driving licence.



Responsibilities:



Key Skills:



· Manage and oversee multiple commercial fit-out projects from conception to completion.



· Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones are met.



· Monitor project progress, budgets, and deadlines, ensuring projects are delivered within scope.



· Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.



· Handle contract variations and resolve any on-site issues promptly and effectively.



· Maintain and develop relationships with the trusted pool of subcontractors.



· Report directly to senior management on project progress.



Qualifications & Experience:



· Full UK Driving licence



· 3-5+ years of experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within the commercial fit-out or construction industry.



· Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.



· Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients.



· Knowledge of health and safety standards and regulations.



· Willingness to travel occasionally across the UK.



Education:




  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
