Contract Software Engineer

Our client, a specialist engineering consultancy, requires an experienced software engineer for a contract role outside IR35.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead software projects and the design, development and maintenance of innovative and efficient full-stack systems


• Provide�technical guidance and advice to more junior members


• Ensure well-tested and maintainable code, guaranteeing seamless performance even when working against tight deadlines and requirements


• Collaborate with the data science team to integrate backend systems with data-driven insights in a fully remote environment

REQUIREMENTS:

• React Expert with a proven track record of building reliable, production-grade React applications


• Strong experience with Django


• Expertise in handling data management, real-time data flow, visualisation, storage optimisation, and ensuring high performance


• Proficient in leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and RDS to deploy scalable, cloud-based applications


• Extensive experience with TypeScript and Python
