Technical Architect / Solutions Architect - CONTRACTWe are looking for a Solutions Architect / Solution Architect to join an Commodities Trading organisation in Central London.The successful Solutions Architect should ideally have either Commodity Trading experience or Financial Services exposure. This isn't essential just a massive benefit to have that business domain experience.🏡 Hybrid Model of 3 days on-site in Central London, 2 working from home/remote days💷 £750-£950 per day, OUTSIDE IR35⚙️ Microsoft Technologies (.NET), Azure, Data & Analytics⏰ 6 months initiallySolution Architect Experience Sought:Experience working with massive Data Sets/Data Points (15,000 different sources - anything that can effect pricing of commodities)Exposure/Understanding of C#/.NET and or Python application developmentKnowledge of and exposure to cloud and/or hybrid architectures using Azure application servicesExcellent knowledge of technology market trends and new developments within both the energy industry and software development.Solutions Architect Description:Responsible for defining context appropriate solution architectures and gaining agreement for these with a particular focus on Front Office applications and toolsEnsure software architecture is implemented in line with architecture vision and principles.Participate in technology architecture and design decision making for solutions deliveredCreate technology roadmaps for all software systems, within the designated area, which align with functional roadmaps.Help to define and drive standards and common approaches to assist the organisation in effective architecture to support delivery of business outcomes.Maintain a set of software architecture artifacts that clearly communicate the business and technology landscape for GE covering current and to-be views of the landscape.If you are a Contract Solutions Architect and interested in the role, please apply today for consideration and a full JD to be disclosed to you.London-based Hybrid model£750-£950 per day, OUTSIDE IR35Interviews to happen ASAPContract Solutions Architect
