A look into the role Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and schools. Within the private sector you will be working with key international brands such as Burger King, FiveGuys and Tim Horton's. We are passionate about food, quality and excellent customer service. The Contracts and Tenders Executive willassist with the management of large strategic opportunities and tenders. In this role you will work to retain existing key contracts and win new national and international contracted business within the public and private sector. This role will be well suited to a candidate who has meticulous attention to detail and ability to analyse and present customer data. You will support and prepare public sector tenders within strict deadlines for submission and manage existing contracts on a day to day basis. Within this role you will work as part of a team and independently. You will be joining a high performing team which has had continued growth year on year. As Contracts and Tenders Executive, you will: Regularly update Customer systems ensuring all data is correct to include pricing specifications and allergen information. Maintain customer account agreed product lists and updates. Work with Contract Managers on work streams cross functionally to ensure Tenders are delivered within Customer deadlines and to business requirements. Gather, analyse and present appropriate data for customers to support our commercial proposition. Assist the on-boarding of new customers that gives clarity on strategic prospects and re-tenders for the year ahead. Work cross-functionally with key departments such as Trading, Finance and Transportation. Managing deadlines to ensure completion of all administration. Resolve Customer administrative requirements at pace. Assist with the management of key customer relationships through attending customer meetings on-line and in person. Skills for Success Joining us as Contracts and Tenders Executive the minimum criteria youll need is: Good standard of education, including GCSE Maths & English or equivalent. Experience working within a strategic, commercial environment with customer responsibility. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office solutions, particularly use of Excel V lookup. Ability to input, analyse, track and interpret customer data with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and to timelines. Hold a full, current UK/EU Driving license The Attributes youll need include: Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team. Effective time management to deliver KPI's. Solutions orientated and results driven. Ability to work with customers to deliver win/win solutions for all parties. Strong communication and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail. Desirable Criteria Third level qualification. Foodservice or FMCG experience. Minimum 3 years experience in an administrative role. Experience of Excel at Advanced level. Are we right for you? This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid working arrangement available.
