The portfolio includes linear broadcast channels (GREAT! and Pop Networks), AVOD apps and a range of FAST (Free Ad Supported TV) on major platforms. /p p br br A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully. br /p p br /p p strong WHAT THE ROLE IS ALL ABOUT /strong /p p An exciting position has opened at Narrative Entertainment for a Contracts Manager, working across content licensing, commercial partnerships and other contractual needs. The Contracts Manager will play a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly and supporting its growth ambitions. /p p The ideal candidate will be able to interpret rights and deal terms in negotiation phases, ensuring compliance with business guidelines and regulatory policies, licensee requirements and Narrative’s requirements. The Contracts Manager will assist internal and external stakeholders in new and existing initiatives including content deals, competitions, product enhancements and partnerships. /p p strong WHAT YOU WILL DO /strong /p ul li strong Contracts reviewing and creation: /strong Drafting, amending, redlining and summarising agreements to ensure it aligns with and complies with Narrative’s needs. /li li strong Deal management: /strong Keep deals database up to date and accurate, allowing to track key deal terms and upcoming renewals in time for renegotiation. Monitor key rights’ asks and incorporate future business needs in renewals. /li li strong Data protection: /strong Conduct DPIA and ensure data protection policies and procedures are in place/followed. Conduct risk assessment for new initiatives. /li li strong Commercial: /strong Assess commercial and legal aspects of new and existing agreements and support contract negotiations, help to identify any risks or future challenges. /li li strong External: /strong Maintain relationships with external legal counsel and liaise with them where legal support is required. /li li strong Market and Regulatory Changes: /strong Stay on top of regulatory and policy changes that impact Narrative’s business. Communicate impact to relevant stakeholders and drive/implement required changes. /li li strong General: /strong Administrative and legal support for ad hoc projects and be the first point of contact for any legal and regulatory queries, including GDPR. /li /ul p strong WHAT YOU WILL BRING /strong /p ul li Contract experience, ideally in the media and entertainment industry /li li Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mentality and demonstrate critical thinking. /li li Able to work independently as well as a part of a team. /li li A driven, motivated and confident attitude with the ability to use your own initiative. /li li Keen learner looking to develop their understanding of the media landscape and business growth drivers of a broadcaster and streaming service. /li li Be highly organised, adept at multi-tasking and flexible with daily or ad-hoc duties. /li li Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. /li li Ability to work under time pressure whilst maintaining high standards. /li /ul p Narrative Entertainment is committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment.
