Position: Contracts Manager

Location: East London (Office-based with site visits across London)

Type: Full-time

Salary: �60,000 - �70,000 (dependent on experience)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to oversee our refurbishment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in main contracting and refurbishment, particularly in roofing, and will be responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently. This position involves a mix of office-based work and site visits, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of refurbishment contracts from inception to completion.


• Coordinate with site teams to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are upheld.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.


• Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.


• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.


• Collaborate with design teams to ensure project specifications are met.


• Manage contractual negotiations and resolve disputes as they arise.


• Implement and monitor health and safety policies on site.


• Provide leadership and support to project teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient workflow.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in main contracting and refurbishment.�


• Experience in roofing projects is highly desirable.


• Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.�


• Longevity with current or recent employer.�


• Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.


• Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.


• Well located for easy access to the M25 for site visits across London.
