Anderselite is seeking an experienced and driven Contracts Manager to join their dynamic team in Leicestershire. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time, and within budget while adhering to all relevant safety and quality regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee multiple contracts from inception to completion, ensuring all works align with client specifications and industry standards.
Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed project schedules, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all fire door installations and fire stopping works comply with fire safety regulations (e.g., BS 476, BS EN 1634-1) and company standards.
Health & Safety: Champion a safe working environment, ensuring all site activities comply with HSE regulations and company policies.
Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, managing expectations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor site supervisors and operatives, fostering a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, approve invoices, and report on financial performance.
Compliance: Stay updated on fire safety legislation, ensuring all work is fully compliant.
Problem Solving: Proactively address challenges, implementing solutions to maintain project momentum.
Key Requirements
-Proven experience as a Contracts Manager, ideally within the fire safety, fire doors, or passive fire protection sector.
-In-depth knowledge of fire safety standards and building regulations.
-Strong leadership and people management skills.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
-Commercially astute with strong budgeting and financial management skills.
-Proficient in project planning tools and software.
-A valid UK driving license.
Qualifications required:
-Certifications in fire safety or fire door installation (e.g., FIRAS, BM TRADA, or similar).
-SMSTS or SSSTS.
-NEBOSH or IOSH Health and Safety qualification.
