The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong telecoms background, ideally with experience in Virgin Media networks. This role will oversee multiple contracts across the East of England, covering locations from Norfolk down to Kent and London. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently on time, and within budget while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage multiple contracts, ensuring operational and financial performance aligns with company objectives.
Lead project delivery teams, ensuring adherence to client specifications, regulations, and company standards.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, including Virgin Media, ensuring strong relationships and service excellence.
Manage and drive subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed to required standards.
Monitor project progress, budgets, and risks, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) policies.
Support bid management and commercial teams with contract variations, tenders, and financial reporting.
Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and quality.
Provide leadership and guidance to site teams, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
Regularly travel across the region to oversee project delivery and attend meetings.
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in a Contracts Manager role within the telecoms sector.
Strong knowledge of Virgin Media networks and telecoms infrastructure projects.
Experience in managing multiple contracts, budgets, and teams across a large geographical area.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage costs effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Good understanding of SHEQ regulations and compliance in the telecoms industry.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel extensively across the East of England.
Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
