Location: East Midlands, Northamptonshire, Northampton

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Monday to Friday

Primary Industry: Construction, New Build Housing

Salary: £75,000 - £90,000 Per annum

Company Overview: A Quality focused housing developer with an outstanding reputation in the industry are looking for a Seasoned Contracts Manager to join their team. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple sites and teams across the Northamptonshire area.

Job Duties:

• Oversee and manage multiple construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Coordinate with site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise
• Manage client relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on all sites

Required Qualifications:

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
• CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• First Aid certification
• NVQ Level 6 or 7 in Construction Management
• Full UK Driving Licence

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Contracts Manager for a housing developer.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of construction project management principles
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management software

Working Conditions:

The role involves regular travel to construction sites across the Northamptonshire area. The Contracts Manager may be required to work flexible hours to accommodate project needs.
