The right Controls Engineer will support the maintenance team (Controls/Technically) within a site-based team environment within a purpose-built automation site-based environment.
Controls Engineer
- To support the PLC technical repairs by the manufacturer's recommendations
- Prioritise system faults.
- Error management and engagement
- Technical fault management controller providing the link and comms to the wider network.
- We are adhering to site-agreed communication and fault management processes.
- Identifying process failures and escalating as required
- Targeting maintenance activities as identified via the EIS / SCADA data analysis
- Root-cause-analysis of faults using industry-recognised tools e.g.
- Rectification and prevention of issues
- Continuous improvement
- Experience with Siemens
Qualifications:
- ONC-HNC qualified engineering OR Electrical Qualified
- Electrical controls system experience including (Not All) inverter drives, conveyors, small lifting equipment, and barcode scanning equipment.
- Siemens PLC, Ladder works/experiences.
