Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Conveyancing Assistant (Completions) to work for a Legal Firm in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Role: Conveyancing Assistant - Completions

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Per Annum

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Hours: Full time - Permanent

Key Responsibilities of the Conveyancing Assistant:

General administration including but not limited to drafting completion statements, producing letters and documents which utilise case management and IT systems
Dealing with client enquiries
Receiving instructions, ordering searches, requesting redemption figures
Proactive diary management including making appointments, prioritising and arranging meetings
Processing daily emails, post and voice messages on behalf of the fee earner
Filing, photocopying, cheque requests, faxing, dead filing, DX & post preparation
Meeting with clients face to face, to help administer and progress matters as instructed by the supervising solicitorAbout you:

A well-organised and flexible person
A person who can be proactive and work under pressure
An efficient and effective administrator
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written and oral communication skills
Takes responsibility for their own work
