As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will provide essential administrative and secretarial support to fee earners, ensuring the smooth running of the conveyancing department. Your key responsibilities will include:
✅ Audio and copy typing of legal documents, letters, and forms
✅ Handling telephone calls professionally and efficiently
✅ Managing administrative tasks such as photocopying and updating client records
✅ Maintaining and organising legal files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
✅ Scheduling appointments and liaising with clients
✅ Using the firm's case management system for data input and document management
✅ Collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless secretarial and telephone cover
We're looking for someone who has:
✔ Proven experience as a Conveyancing Legal Secretary
✔ Strong technical skills, including fast and accurate typing
✔ The ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure
✔ Excellent communication skills with a professional and friendly manner
✔ A keen eye for attention to detail
✔ A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and legal case management systems
