Are you an qualified solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer with 2 years PQE?

If this sounds like you, these are the requirements;-





Thorough understanding of compliance requirements including AML risk assessment and source of funds/wealth/KYC/CDD



Manage a caseload of freehold/leasehold sales and purchases to include:



Draft/review contract packs



Draft enquiries & review searches / reply to enquiries



Review and report on mortgage offer



Draft reports to clients



Drafting auction packs / completing auction purchases



Additionally, dealing with re-mortgages and transfers of equity





You should be familiar with the conveyancing process from inset through to completion and post completion



Experience of new build purchases, shared ownership, help to buy redemptions, Help to Buy ISAs and LISAs preferred.



PQE 2 years+ preferred



In addition to providing administrative and secretarial support, both positions will need to have a flexible approach to working closely with everyone in the Firm, its a very collaborative environment.



General working procedures:




  • Use the CRM to full capacity.

  • Finalise dictation in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Attend to all that is required to open, progress and close a file.

  • Assist with answering telephone calls and walk-in clients as required.

  • Be presentable, polite and helpful.

  • Communicate as often as is required with clients as well as other stakeholders with a view to progressing matters swiftly and accurately.

  • Provide a level of ownership and accountability for the client experience.

  • Proactively progress matters, which requires that no matter is left unattended for a period of 2 weeks.

  • Actively seek to instil a culture of collaboration, client focused thinking and problem-solving thinking within the work environment

  • Develop personally and assist in the development of your colleagues.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with your colleagues as well as the stakeholders, referrers, estate agents, financial advisors, will writers and other solicitors/conveyancers.

  • Promote a safe working environment by complying with all Health and Safety Regulations and taking steps to ensure that there are no hazards.

  • To be financially astute and seek to improve saving and reduce expenditure.



Remain up to date with all relevant legislation such as Money Laundering, GDPR, Compliance and Financial prudence
