Position: Cook
Location: Students' Union, Edinburgh
Salary: £18,500 PA (Annualised)
Working Weeks: 39 weeks per year
About Us: Join our vibrant Students' Union kitchen team in the heart of Edinburgh! We serve up delicious, student-friendly meals including chips, burgers, wraps, and nachos. We're looking for a passionate cook who loves creating tasty, comforting food.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of basic foods such as chips, burgers, wraps, and nachos.
Ensure food is prepared to high standards of quality and hygiene.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Assist with menu planning and food inventory management.
Provide excellent customer service to students and staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
