Care Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join a lovely residential home in the East Preston area.�

Duties will include;

• This role is for flexible working consisting of shifts for Cook/Kitchen Assistant.�


• The hours start from 6.30am with the latest finish time being 7.00pm


• The average hours are 28 hours per week with the opportunity for overtime. This will be on a rolling rota to enable you to have a great work life balance.

Duties

• To ensure that you adhere to the menu when preparing and making food in a safe and timely way


• Communicate with the head cook to ensure correct stock control


• Adhere to clean as you go in the kitchen area, ensuring that all logbooks are completed to comply with health and safety standards


• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment and report any issues or malfunctions

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Cook and Kitchen Assistant�

- Knowledge of IDDSI , food modification and Allergens

- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- Ability to follow instructions accurately

- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: �14.00-�15.00 per hour
