Copy Typist - Urgently Required

Our client is currently looking for a copy typist on a temporary basis to cover sick leave approximately 3 months.� Working Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.� You would be working for a small firm of solicitors based in Bedford.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Accurately type legal documents, including Wills, Probate forms, and correspondence as dictated by solicitors.


• Transcribe� hand-written notes into clear and accurate documents.


• Organize and maintain files and records related to Wills and Probate matters.


• Assist with general administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and filing.


• Ensure all documents are correctly formatted and comply with legal standards.


• Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with data protection laws.


• Provide support to solicitors and other team members when required.

• Desirable Attributes:


• Previous experience working in a legal or administrative environment is beneficial but not required.


• Willingness to learn about the Wills and Probate field.


• Adaptability and a proactive attitude.
