For more information, please visit Overview Univers is looking for a Corporate Finance Director and this role is responsible for developing the Corporate Finance function, including owning the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to improve decision making and optimize financial profitability. The role reports to the CFO and will be an integral member of the senior finance leadership team. This role includes key functions such as corporate P&L, balance sheet forecasting, strategic planning/budgeting, capital planning functions as well as strategic long-term roadmap planning and analysis. The position will be responsible for providing thought leadership, driving optimized financial strategies, and managing constrained financial resources to ensure the achievement of the strategic business plans and objectives. Corporate Finance Director (FP&A, Investor Relations) Role will be based in KL, Malaysia with hybrid work environment (1-2x per week in office) Responsibilities: Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Partner with the regional finance team to develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts that drive growth and efficiency, whilst delivering high return on investment Partner with Engineering to establish ROIs and drive appropriate prioritization. Help business partners gain key insights into spending with important and actionable analysis. Provide ad hoc analytical support to guide the operational and strategic decision making Review current product cost and pricing structure(s), recommend pricing amendments to achieve profitability outcomes Review the current business cash flows and funding models, recommend the future direction, and implement agreed actions Create and maintain management reporting packages, including key metrics and KPIs that align to the annual and 5-year strategic planning goals Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies Executive Communication: Present the monthly and quarterly financial statements, forecasts and analytical reports to the CFO/CEO and the Executive team. Provide recommendations for improving overall performance and profitability Investor Relations: Create a strategic investor relations plan, identifying key potential shareholders Develop and build relationships in the investment community with both existing shareholders and establish strategy for overall engagement Provide investor insights and perspectives for the Executive team Proactively educate the investment community on Univers operations and objectives Responsible for maintaining and updating the guidance models and tracking all analyst models against the guidance models Understand the best practices for target setting and reporting of the key operating metrics Collect and maintain the key business and financial metrics across peers in the industry Perform a range of analysis which includes industry analysis, competitive analysis, and comparative valuation to interpret data related to the company Assess the mix of the investor base and create plans to target and attract long-term investors; expand and maintain key investors' ownership positions Assist with presentations for investor(s), corporate communications, marketing initiatives, presentations for investor conferences, road shows and other activities Manage the earnings process, including cross-functional review meetings, collaborating with the business to gather themes and develop materials such as earnings releases, scripts, presentations, Q&A supporting documents, and C-Level preparation Collaborating with Product, Finance, Marketing, Legal to ensure communicators are aligned with company strategy Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field required CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred 15+ years of relevant experience in Financial planning & analysis, and Investor relations, preferably in listed technology companies and with an auditing background Prior experience from SaaS, Hi-Tech or Software Tech companies will have a good advantage Experience of working in international teams of accounting professionals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting software Experience with ERP systems, such as Dynamics is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
