Hayward Hawk is delighted to be working in Partnership with exceptional mid tier firm to recruit a Corporate Finance, Senior to join their scaling Belfast team. This is a newly created role, reflecting their growth in this competitive market. Applicants will ideally have some Restructuring and/or Corporate Finance experience BUT applications also welcomed from Audit trained accountants who are keen to diversify. As part of wider advisory service line, the successful candidate will work on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, financial modelling, and valuation analysis. You will play a key role in supporting transactions, assisting in strategic financial decision-making, and ensuring financial data is robust and accurate. Hybrid work pattern in Belfast so all applicants MUST BE LIVING IN NORTHERN IRELAND. The Role Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support M&A, valuations, and capital raising activities. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to inform investment decisions. Participate in financial and operational due diligence for potential transactions (buy-side and sell-side). Review and analyse financial statements, management accounts, and key operational metrics. Identify risks, trends, and opportunities within financial data. Prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Support senior team members in structuring transactions and providing financial advice to clients. Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP. Provide financial insights and reports to assist in decision-making. The Person Newly qualified ACA/ACCA. Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, reporting standards, and corporate finance concepts. Proficiency in financial modelling/advanced Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
