They are now seeking a diligent and skilled Tax Manager to join their Business Tax Group and contribute to our mission of delivering excellence in taxation.Key Responsibilities:As a Tax Manager, you will play a vital role in our team, ensuring the seamless execution of business tax compliance services. Your responsibilities will include:Supervising and managing a portfolio of approximately 150 business clients, consisting of companies and partnerships, ensuring their tax compliance needs are met with precision.Conducting comprehensive reviews of a wide range of corporate and partnership tax returns, while staying attuned to legislative changes and identifying potential tax planning opportunities.Collaborating with junior staff members, sharing your knowledge, expertise, and managing individual work-streams to foster their professional growth.Cultivating strong relationships within the firm and with our clients, identifying opportunities, and effectively managing client expectations.Staying current with relevant technical developments in the field and providing ad-hoc advisory support to partners as needed.Key Requirements:To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes:ACA/ACCA and CTA qualifications are essential.A minimum of two years of post-CTA experience.Proficiency in using tax software, with a good knowledge of Alphatax.A broad understanding of different aspects of taxation related to companies and businesses.Strong written and oral communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly in various contexts.A client-centric approach and commercial awareness to understand and cater to our clients' specific needs.Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines.Proficiency in delegation and managing junior staff members.This firm are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace where all individuals are valued for their unique perspectives and abilities.
