Cost Clerk
Excellent opportunity for a subcontractor which operate within the Highways division on a full time, permanent basis.
Location:- Kent, Southeast
Salary:- �25,000 basic
Role:
The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a subcontractor who has a National Highways division delivering various projects from Frameworks through to major projects. As a Cost Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the commercial team by managing and monitoring records on a timely basis.
Your Responsibilities:-
- The processing of allocated records payable in an efficient and timely manner
- Ensuring that all records have the correct authorisations and relevant coding
- If records require amendments, ensure that this is done in a prompt manner to ensure they adhere to payment process.
- Ensuring that all records are identified, indexed, filed and retained in accordance with the relevant filing system and statutory requirements.
- Resolve queries in an efficient and timely manner for both internal and external customers.
- All filing requirements need to be completed on a weekly basis.
- Assist Manager as required with any ad hoc projects and assist all other team members as directed by Manager when necessary.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience of working in a project environment with in a Commercial / Accountant team is vital. Ideally working knowledge of the Cost Clerks duties by either being in that role or supporting it.
