Warehouse Operative/Counter-Balance Driver

Location: Buckshaw Village (PR7)

Our client, a reputable company based in Buckshaw Village, is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative/Counter-Balance Driver to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for various warehouse operations, accompanying a van driver in loading and unloading stock at the company's local sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse tasks, including but not limited to loading and unloading stock and accompanying a van driver on delivery routes.
• Operate a counter-balance forklift with precision and safety, following all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist in inventory management, ensuring accurate records of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a warehouse operative.
• A counter-balance forklift licence (in-house licence will be accepted).
• Excellent understanding of warehouse operations and health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm (12pm to 6pm on Fridays).

Pay:

£12.52 per hour.
