Counterbalance Driver

The Best Connection are looking for an enthusiastic Counterbalance or Reach Forklift Driver to work for one of our Clients in the Basingstoke area. This is an ongoing role.

Hours of work

• 07:00-16:30 (1 hour lunch break)


• Monday to Friday


• 43 hours per week

Rate of Pay

• �12.50

Responsibilities of the FLT Driver

• Collecting building supplies for customers


• Moving materials from A to B using a FLT truck


• General FLT duties�


• Serve customers in a helpful and friendly manner and ask questions to establish customer needs


• Pick and assemble orders for both delivery and collection, matching picking notes to the driver delivery notes


• Undertake regular stock takes and advise on low stocks


• Order goods within branch guidelines


• Ensure any goods that are damaged are dealt with


• Keep the yard/warehouse clean, neat and tidy


• Any other duties and responsibilities that may be asked of you

Requirements of the FLT Driver

• Have a good understanding of Building materials


• Provide good customer service


• Some previous experience in a similar job role


• Good attention to detail


• Strong work ethic
