Our client has over 60 years’ experience in the plastics industry. They are a former family-run manufacturer who supplies thermo plastic injection moulded components to companies across the UK and worldwide.

THE ROLE
The position is a Counterbalance Forklift Driver and Warehouse Person where you will be responsible for operating a forklift and attending to the warehouse. You will support the business by following through the operations process from beginning to end. Some of your duties include:

• Loading and unloading materials.


• Putting material in driers.


• Keeping stocks.


• Goods out.


• Quality checking and despatch paperwork.


• Delivering orders to customers.


• Adhere to KPI’s set by your line leader or team manager in order to achieve business targets


• Carry out any other reasonable task requested by your line leader or team manager


• Data entry/ update

THE PERSON

• You must have a “can do” attitude, be open to progression and be a team player


• You will have a strong level of verbal and written communication skills


• You will have experience working with a counterbalance FLT - this must be RTITB and in date.


• You will have the ability to complete basic paperwork also be able to update a an inhouse computer system


• You will have a full clean driving license
