Country Quality Manager

Shirley Parsons is delighted to be working exclusively with a leading Global Air Cargo organisation based out of Heathrow airport who are looking to appoint a Country Quality Manager paying up to £65,000.

The Country Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing, auditing, and implementing quality assurance and control processes across the UK, ensuring alignment with EMEAA and global standards.

The primary responsibility of this role is to develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system within the country. This includes taking ownership of the quality assurance program, driving its implementation across all business areas in the UK, and providing expert advice and support. The role ensures that all processes and procedures are thoroughly documented and comply with both regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to all mandatory legislation and standards relevant to the operation.
• Provide overall support across the UK network on all compliance matters.
• Review local, EMEAA and Global processes and procedures to ensure UK division can meet the requirements and where necessary provide suitable and sufficient guidance where our operation will not be able to meet the requirements.
• Support the UK operational teams in implementation of new processes and procedures, as identified by the HSSE and Continuous Improvement (CI) Team.
• Conduct compliance spot checks on all UK locations to ensure all processes/procedures are being adhered to and support implementation of any new processes/procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and influence others effectively.
• Ability to plan, prioritise and organize own workload, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Strong IT skills and understanding of customs software/interfaces.
• Travel required for site visits.
