I am seeking a skilled and dedicated Court of Protection Solicitor to join a team in a unique and exciting role.

As a Court of Protection Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the rights and interests of individuals who lack mental capacity to make decisions for themselves. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Managing a caseload of Court of Protection matters, including deputyship applications, statutory wills, and lasting powers of attorney.
* Advising clients on matters relating to mental capacity, best interests, and deprivation of liberty safeguards.
* Representing clients in Court of Protection proceedings and attending hearings.
* Collaborating with other legal professionals, healthcare providers, and support networks to ensure comprehensive client support.
* Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases.
* Keeping up-to-date with changes in legislation and relevant case law, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Court of Protection work.
* Experience in handling Court of Protection cases independently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly and concisely to clients.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Demonstrated commitment to client care and maintaining high ethical standards.
