Cover Supervisor, Daventry, Full-Time

Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor looking for work in a supportive secondary school? We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Daventry on a supply basis. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment. You will be managing classroom behaviour, offering support where needed, and ensuring that students remain engaged in their learning. This is an ideal role for individuals with prior Cover Supervisor experience or those looking to gain further experience within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Support students in their learning where necessary.
• Work flexibly across multiple subject areas as required.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS on the update service.
• Previous UK classroom and Cover Supervisor experience.
• Flexibility to work across various subject areas.
