We're looking for confident, proactive individuals with experience working with secondary school-aged children (11-16) to join schools across Medway as Cover Supervisors. No teaching qualification? No problem - we offer free, comprehensive training to get you ready for the classroom.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll support schools by delivering pre-set lessons when teachers are absent. You won't need to plan or mark work - your focus will be on managing the classroom, keeping pupils on task, and maintaining a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes during short-term teacher absence
• Follow lesson plans and ensure pupils stay engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour and routines
• Provide support and encouragement to students
• Report any issues back to school staff

What We're Looking For:

• Experience working with secondary-aged children (e.g., youth work, mentoring, coaching, tuition)
• Confident communicator with good classroom presence
• Adaptable, reliable, and calm under pressure
• Strong interest in education and supporting young people
• Available for flexible or regular work in Medway schools
