Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Newcastle
Salary: Up to £115 per day

GSL Education are seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our client schools in Newcastle. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain classroom experience and support students' learning in the absence of their regular teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across the curriculum in the event of teacher absences.
• Ensure students engage in pre-planned work.
• Manage student behaviour to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.
• Support the school’s policies and ethos.

Requirements:

• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Previous experience in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
