Key Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-set lesson plans provided by the subject teacher or department.
Manage student behaviour in accordance with the school's behaviour policy.
Supervise and assist students during their classwork, ensuring they stay on task.
Promote a positive learning environment, encouraging student participation.
Ensure lessons run smoothly by maintaining good order and discipline.
Provide basic assistance and clarification to students if needed.
Ensure that all materials and resources required for the lesson are available.
Encourage students to complete their work to the best of their ability.
Respond to any immediate queries or issues in the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
Essential:
Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage and engage groups of students effectively.
