Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Sheffield (S35)
Salary Range: £95 - £110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-Day/Long-Term, Full-time/Part-time

The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment, delivering pre-set lessons and ensuring students stay engaged and on task. This is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about education, whether you are considering a teaching career or simply want to contribute to students' academic success.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise students during teacher absences and ensure their engagement in the classroom.
• Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a variety of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Support students in completing their work to the best of their ability.
• Report on class progress and any issues to the teaching staff.

Cover Supervisor Job Requirements:

• Experience working as a Cover Supervisor in the classroom setting is desired.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Confidence in supervising and engaging with students.
• Ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions.
• Flexibility and adaptability to cover various subjects.
• A passion for education and supporting students' learning progress.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
