Job Overview:

We are looking for proactive and capable Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong ability to manage and support students across various subjects when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Ensure that students follow the set work and complete tasks as directed.
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
• Provide support to students as needed and manage any behavioural issues.
• Liaise with teachers and school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to cover supervision as required.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and teaching styles.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in education are advantageous.
