Position: Cover Supervisor

Pay Rate: £110-120 per day

Location: Torbay

Job Type: Flexible

Start Date: Immediate or after your notice period

Requirements of this role:

• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Enhanced Child DBS on the update service.
• Relevant experience in the UK schools.
• Ability to provide 2 professional references
• Strong communication, behaviour and management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities as a Cover supervisor:

• Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring students remain on task with their learning.
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour in accordance with school policies.
• Support students in completing their work, providing guidance and timely assistance.
• Collaborate with the teaching staff to ensure continuity and quality of education during cover periods.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and training sessions as required.
