About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Your duties will include:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring students remain on task.
  • \n
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • \n
  • Providing support and guidance to students.
  • \n
  • Following school policies and procedures.
  • \n
  • Taking registers and ensuring accurate attendance records.
  • \n

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • \n
  • Strong classroom management abilities.
  • \n
  • The ability to adapt quickly to different environments.
  • \n
  • A proactive and responsible attitude.
  • \n
  • A genuine interest in working with young people.

  • Reliability and punctuality.
  • \n
  • Although not essential, experience working with children or in a school environment is desirable.
