Duties as a Cover Supervisor:

• Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons and manage classroom behaviour.

• Support students with their tasks, providing guidance where needed.
\n
• Maintain a positive and structured learning environment.
\n
• Follow school policies on behaviour management and safeguarding.
\n
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and student behaviour.

Ideal Cover Supervisor:

• Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting.
\n
• Strong classroom management skills and confidence in leading a class.
\n
• A proactive and adaptable approach to different subjects and year groups.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.
\n
• A passion for supporting students and contributing to their education.
\n
• A relevant qualification or degree (desirable but not essential).
