Crane Engineer

OLG Recruitment are currently looking for four Crane Engineers for our client, two located in Tyne & Wear and two located in Teesside. These are permanent positions working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am-4:30 and overtime is available.
You will be inspecting, servicing, maintaining and repairing customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries. You will also offer advice to customers on safety and operational improvements to ensure they stay compliant.
Main Duties
Inspect, service, maintain and repair customers overhead cranes and lifting equipment across a wide range of industries Collaborate with a team of brilliant service engineers and lead technicians.
Troubleshoot and solve complex engineering challenges
Ensure safety and efficiency in every job
Key Attributes
Electro-mechanically trained (electrically bias)
Time served electrically qualified an advantage
Understanding and knowledge of electrical drawings an advantage
Comfortable working at height
Valid UK Driving Licence
Customer Focused
Attention to Detail with a trouble shooting approach, organised and presentable
LEEA Qualifications, an advantage but not essential
