Crane Fitter

Contek recruitment are seeking a Crane Fitter to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance, repair, and fitting of cranes and heavy lifting equipment.

As a Crane Fitter, you will be responsible for ensuring that all crane operations are conducted safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

If you are interested in the role and do not have any crane experience, but have experience from the following background, there is room to upskill you:

• Plant engineer


• Plant fitter


• Plant mechanic�


• Construction machinery


• Heavy plant


• Powered access

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications such as an NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.


• Proven experience as a Crane Fitter, Plant Mechanic, or similar role.


• In-depth knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.


• Familiarity with health and safety standards and a commitment to applying safety practices at all times.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• A valid UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• CPCS Card Holder or equivalent.


• Welding and fabrication skills.
