Creative Designer
Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in the Newcastle-under-Lyme office)
Salary: �35000 - �40,000 (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid
Start date: April - June 2025

We're working with a high-growth eCommerce business that's seeking a Creative Designer with a flair for packaging to join their expanding in-house team. With a modern product portfolio and a strong brand presence, this is an opportunity to take ownership of design work that will be seen by thousands, both online and on the shelf.
What You'll Be Doing:Packaging & Branding:
Create eye-catching, commercially effective packaging designs across a wide range of products
Develop concepts from scratch, working through to final production-ready artwork
Bring products to life with innovative, brand-aligned packaging that stands out in-store and online
Creative & Campaign Support:
Design for the full marketing mix-email, social media, product lifestyle imagery, on-site banners, and infographics
Collaborate with internal teams to create cohesive digital and print design assets that support campaign launches
Ensure consistency and high standards across all visual touchpoints
UX & Digital Design:
Support user experience through intuitive design and layout choices
Contribute to improving product pages, landing pages, and digital content
Use strong visual storytelling to drive engagement across all platforms
Brand Ownership & Innovation:
Own and evolve the brand's visual guidelines, ensuring consistency and modernity
Work collaboratively with in-house teams and external suppliers to uphold brand integrity
Stay ahead of design trends, particularly in packaging, D2C, and consumer lifestyle markets
3+ years of experience in a creative role-ideally within an eCommerce, FMCG, or design agency environment
A standout portfolio with examples of packaging, branding, and campaign work
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); After Effects a plus
Strong typography, layout, and image editing skills
Experience in product photography, mockups, and presentation design
Excellent communication and feedback-handling skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points for experience with motion graphics, 3D modelling, or basic HTML/CSS
