What you will do



In this role as Credit Control Manager, you will play a key role in the Senior Management team, maintaining long-term partnerships with customers and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Additionally, you will be directly managing multiple large accounts as well as leading a small team of highly effective credit controllers. 



As their new Credit Control Manager your duties will be broad and encompass:

-    Establishing credit limits and evaluating credit worthiness of potential and existing customers.

-    Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations in relation to credit control and GDPR.

-    Monitoring credit exposure and taking appropriate action to minimise bad debt risks.

-    Working closely with the Finance team to forecast cash flow.

-    Developing and implementing effective credit control policies and practices to minimise credit risk and improve cash collection efficiency.



About You



Within this role is it important that you are focused on providing a reliable, consistent and high-quality credit control service to the customers and the business. In addition, you will:

-    Lead your team from the front, ensuring quality credit control service at all times.

-    Have demonstrable experiencing of developing people.

-    Have excellent communication skills.

-    Collaborate various internal and external stakeholders.

-    Have experience managing a busy credit control function with a company turnover not far off £50m. 

-    Be analytical to summarise and present credit control data with recommendations when necessary.

The position is offered on a hybrid working basis with 2 days remote working. 

-    Salary in the region of up to £48,000 p/a

-    3 days in the office will be spent in their West Wiltshire based offices.
