Credit Controller.

Salary: £25,000-£30,000 (DOE)

Working Hours: Full Time, 08:30-17:30 (Monday to Friday).

\n

Hybrid Working: 1 Day in Office (London, Soho Square). 4 days WFH.

Contract Length: Fixed Term, 12 months. Start January 2025.

The Opportunity:

\n

As a Credit Controller you will join a well-established, experienced and collaborative team based in the heart of London's Soho Square, working with colleagues locally and in various other locations across the UK and in India. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, effectively engaging with the business and external customers, managing credit and collections process and minimizing credit risks to support financial performance of Affinity Workforce Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively chase outstanding debts from customers in a pro-active and professional manner.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to engage with customers; negotiate payment terms and resolve billing enquiries and disputes.
  • \n
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing queries or concerns related to credit matters.
  • \n
  • Effectively manage high-volumes of ledgers across multiple customers.
  • \n

What you will need to succeed:

\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 12 months' experience managing credit in or in a similar credit control role.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication skills both with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to build rapport and effectively resolve conflicts and disputes.
  • \n
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
  • \n
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills - ideally being able to create VLook-ups and Pivot Tables.
  • \n
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
  • \n
  • Familiarity with UK Banking and credit regulations and customer segmentation.
  • \n
