Description
Your key duties will be to:
- Manage and maintain the organisation's credit control system
- Ensure timely and effective collection of all debts and customer payments
- Regularly monitor and report on updates of credit risks
- Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
- Process invoices and credit notes accurately and promptly
- Manage sales ledger accounts and ensure they are up to date
- Perform account reconciliations as required
- Work closely with the finance team to achieve set objectives
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- A solid background in accounting and finance, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- An understanding of credit control procedures and best practices.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
