Your new company Hays are currently recruiting on behalf of a local manufacturing business. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Credit Controller will be an integral part of the finance department, being responsible for the management and collection of Accounts Receivable. Your new role You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing customers, ensuring debts are paid in a timely and effective manner. You will keep in regular contact with customers, follow up on queries, resend duplicate invoices and monitor daily ledger intake. You will also set up new accounts when required, check credit ratings and set and monitor credit limits. You will also assist with general finance admin if required. What you'll need to succeed You will have strong verbal communication skills, good systems/IT. Previous experience within a credit control or Accounts Admin would be beneficial as would formal credit control training/qualifications would be an advantage, however not essential What you'll get in return You will receive an excellent salary, on site parking, a fantastic working environment and part-time, flexible hours.
