JOB TITLE: Credit Controller
LOCATION: Rickmansworth
SALARY: £30,000 - £35,000 Basic (dependent on experience)
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM
The COMPANY
Our client is an independent family-owned builders and timber merchant offering a wide range of supplies, including building materials, roofing timber and steel. They are currently looking for a Credit Controller to join their expanding team.
The ROLE
As a Credit Controller, your responsibilities are to:
* Evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
* Develop and implement effective credit policies.
* Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices to customers.
* Track customer accounts for overdue payments.
* Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes.
* Control cash flow management.
CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for a strong Credit Controller with the following experience and attributes:
* Experience in a credit control position.
* Strong understanding of credit management, financial analysis, and risk assessment.
* Good attention to detail.
* Ability to balance enforcing payment terms with maintaining positive client relationships.
* Familiarity with financial software, as well as relevant compliance standards.
* Strong communication skills,
