Description
As a Credit Controller you will be responsible for:
- Manage and maintain client accounts, ensuring timely payment of debts
- Process invoices, transactions, and expenses in line with company policy
- Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Prepare reports detailing aged debt and credit control activity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- Work closely with the wider finance team to improve processes and policies
- Comply with all necessary legal standards and regulations
- Assist with other accounting projects as needed
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
- A strong understanding of credit control processes and principles
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- An educational background in finance, accounting or a related field
