Institutional Credit Management (ICM) works closely with our frontline businesses to serve as a critical component of our First Line ofdefense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management and alsowith our Independent Risk partners to ensure best-in-class risk andcontrols, as well as client responsiveness. Key responsibilitiesinclude portfolio analysis, documentation, risk identification,management, monitoring, administration, and stress testing. Inthis role, the ICM Portfolio Officer will be responsible forcoordinating all aspects of Portfolio Management including EarlyWarning Credit Management, Risk Appetite and Limits Management,Portfolio Health, Exceptions Management, and coordinate with other ICMteams, Risk Management, and business partners, and executing on themonitoring strategies and priorities, as well as contributing to thecalibration of alerts, metrics and indicators for maximum efficacy. The PM is expected to produce recommendations to the portfolioowners that may include portfolio reviews, stress tests, risk appetiteand underwriting criteria recalibrations, reclassification offacilities, risk rating or limits changes among others. Responsibilities: Develop framework for portfoliorisk assessment including evaluation of credit and financialperformance across varied lending products and industry segments Understand applicable credit policies, industry regulations andthe requisite impact of those governance items to prospective newpartners or product initiatives Establish and leveragecross-functional partnerships and network with key internal andexternal constituencies Prepare risk managementpresentations for senior management that include analytics on expectedportfolio performance and areas of potential risk and/or opportunity Has the ability to operate with a limited level of directsupervision. Can exercise independence of judgement andautonomy. Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or otherteam members. Appropriately assess risk when businessdecisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for thefirm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets,by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations,adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personalbehaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managingand reporting control issues with transparency.
