An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Worker to join the Criminal Justice Services team in Midlothian. This role offers a chance to work with a top local authority while making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals involved in the criminal justice system.

Contract Details:

• Minimum term: 3 months
• Attractive hourly rate
• Flexible locum schedule

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver social work services within criminal justice, managing a diverse caseload.
• Complete court reports and other statutory assessments.
• Use LSCMI tools to assess and manage risk.
• Provide case management and intervention to reduce offending behavior.

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).
• Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant experience in criminal justice social work.
