We are looking for a Crop Production Technical Advisor to join the Frontier team, based in the Yorkshire to Scottish Borders region, on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will involve working from home but with an expectation to travel to sites across the region when required.

You will provide high quality technical information in relation to all combinable crops.

About You

Proven commercial awareness

Able to communicate with impact at every level

Excellent organisational skills, including prioritising workloads, meeting deadlines and managing a varied workload in a busy environment

Able to develop effective and supportive relationships with internal commercial teams

Effective presentation skills, to both internal and external customers

Able to hit deadlines in a busy environment
Proven experience of working within a technical role in an agricultural environment
Previous field agronomy and crop nutrition/protection experience is desirable

Your Role

As a Crop Production Technical Advisor your role will involve:

Providing regular in-season technical bulletins for all combinable crops within agreed time frames

Providing regional commercial teams with technical support across all combinable crops

Taking the lead from our Combinable Crop Production Specialist on strategy and delivery of required knowledge exchange across all combinable crops

Supporting a holistic approach to crop growing protocols, delivering a captures all strategy, avoiding silo mentality of inputs capable of generating margin

Providing in-season summaries and updates on trials, including short videos/blogs

Supporting the uptake of strategic technical direction on product pipelines and legislative amendments to commercial teams

Working closely with our Sustainable Crop Production teams to understand environmental & stewardship requirements on farm

Working collaboratively with all departments of Frontiers in-house Technical team

Providing written PR opportunities on all combinable crops for the Frontier website, blogs and external publications

Working closely with Regional Sales Leaders, being the key point of contact and providing technical support and advice to their teams

Supporting the delivery of trial protocols for all combinable crops within agreed frameworks

A strong understanding of all departments delivering Frontiers Sustainable Crop Production programme, supporting the delivery of key messaging to the commercial teams

Responsibility for sending all relevant internal and external documents for the agronomy library to technical support to upload

Supporting the production and delivery of technical strategy information to agronomy teams

Processing and summarising large data sets to support technical and commercial strategy

Ensuring technical content by crop is legal and compliant for our commercial teams

Providing support and advice on all product revocations

Providing back up support to the Frontier Hotline on combinable crops
