About Us:

We are working with a large regional groundwork and civil engineering contractor that mainly specialise in residential schemes. We are aiming to recruit several 3 or 4 worker teams that can work together with experience of machine operating, drainage and finishing groundworks. 

Job Overview:

We are seeking a experienced and hard-working groundworkers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for civil engineering and a strong desire to contribute towards delivering work to a high standard at the clients deadlines

Key Responsibilities may include:

Site Preparation: Clearing and levelling land, which may involve removing vegetation, debris, and unwanted materials.

Excavation: Digging trenches and holes for foundations, pipelines, and other infrastructure.

Drainage Installation: Laying down pipes and creating drainage systems to manage water flow and prevent flooding.

Foundation Work: Pouring concrete for foundations and other structures, ensuring they are stable and secure.

Paving and Landscaping: Installing surfaces like pavements, driveways, and paths, and preparing areas for landscaping.

Utility Installation: Assisting in the placement of utilities such as water, gas, and electricity lines.

Heavy Machinery Operation: Operating machinery like diggers, excavators, and compactors to assist in construction tasks.

Compliance and Safety: Ensuring that all work meets safety standards and regulations, often working in coordination with site supervisors and health and safety officers.

Successful candidates will have well rounded skills and experience from previous roles as a groundworker or machine operator
