Role Overview :
The company is seeking a hands-on Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive its technological vision and strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
Define the technical roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and establish best practices to maintain an advanced technology stack.
Oversee product development, implementation, and scaling to ensure high quality and performance standards are met.
Be actively involved in coding, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, particularly in the early stages.
Lead recruitment efforts for top technical talent, building a strong engineering team as the company grows.
Make strategic decisions about in-house development versus third-party solutions to optimize resources.
Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
Requirements :
Proven experience leading technology teams and delivering scalable software solutions in a fast-paced, growth environment.
PhD in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related fields is desirable but not required.
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in tech-driven start-ups as a bonus.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL.
Expertise in database management systems, particularly PostgreSQL, Redis, and Chromadb, along with experience in cloud platforms like AWS.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD, Docker, GitHub, and server management (Ubuntu).
